is a board-certified Family Physician with greater than 20 years of practice. She is dual board-certified in Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. A graduate of Mercer University School of Medicine and University of Florida FP residency program - her passion is helping patients feel empowered to make healthy changes that will lead to a healthier life. She moved to Brevard, NC in 2014 after working for Shands Teaching Hospital and owning her own weight loss center in Florida.

Carly Bartelsen is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of nursing experience and has practiced as an NP since 2017. She began her career in home health, where she discovered firsthand how the foods and drinks we keep in our kitchens greatly impact our overall health and well-being. Carly is excited to join The Weight Place in Arden, where she is passionate about empowering patients and providing the tools and guidance needed to live a healthier, more balanced life.
